The pretty village of Altea la Vella and the nearby town of Altea offer an excellent choice of shops, bars and restaurants. A little further away - about 20 minutes in the car - is Benidorm, one of Spain’s largest tourist resorts. The historic cities of Alicante and Valencia are, respectively, only 40 minutes and 1hour drive away.
